“Reality is perceived as if through a veil, at times light and often dense.
Trying to liberate our minds and bodies from acquired information that resists these attempts. When successful, we can become a moth or a butterfly. All depends on our mind, with its interconnected neuronal connections, communicating through the labyrinth of our brains, where, quite possibly, our soul exists metaphysically as transparent butterfly, or in a physical form as definite as seen by scanning the brain, three centimeters from the Amygdala, which is where, according to neuro-scientists, our emotions are processed.

The Greeks intuitively introduced much of the above by using the word “Psyque” indiscriminately for both the Soul and a Butterfly.

For artists, there is always possibility of choosing to be on the dark side of the illusion of reality, denounce injustices, consumerism, contamination, wars and violence, allowing the expression of their fury through their creations – while they can also, as many which I personally admire, have and are doing – place themselves directly in their interior reality.
Today, more than ever, I identify with such creative expressions as the photography of Josef Sudek, the abstract mystical landscapes of Rothko, or video installations like the ones by Bill Viola, among many works greatly impregnated with grandiose intimacy."

THE LOCATION OF THE SOUL IN THE HUMAN BRAIN

If in ancient Greek,  the word Psyque was use to name the SOUL and the BUTTERFLIES,

is it possible that the Greeks had located the soul in the brain?
