Activities
Between 1975 and 1989 – She established a new concept of advertising communication and was the owner of two quite important agencies in Bogota Colombia. During this period her companies obtained few prizes for the Radio, Cinema and T.V. productions.
MULTIDISCIPLINARY ARTIST
From 1989, she established her residence in Mallorca, Spain where she dedicated herself only to visual arts.
Her first paintings here exhibited in few collective shows in Washington D.C., during the 70’s. On the 80’s, while she started sculpting, she published; Visual Poem, a book with black and white photography which obtained a prize at the Book Fair in Geneva on 1985. During the 90’s she exhibited few times in Palma de Mallorca, paintings, engraving and monotype, sculpture and digital video animation. Simultaneously, her Works where exhibited in Santiago de Chile and Germany.
She dedicated fully to sculpture in 1989 -1999 when she was elected by Salzgitter A.G. to work in industrial steel, large scale format, as an artist in residence for a full year which ended with an exhibit and performance.
Since the year 2000 she has been working in the creation of “multimedia installations” which had been exhibited in Kerkrade, Holland, Valladolid, Valencia and Mallorca in Spain, and in Darmstadt in Germany.

In all her latest exhibits, the artist invites to meditate or reflect about the identity and consumerism, represented by the Bar Code. This common image of the bar code, is transformed by the artist in a symbol which invites the public to search in themselves and beyond the commercial proposals, to search for their own identity and the question Vezomi ask to herself; Who am I?, becomes: Who are you
